2001 Porsche 911 Turbo
This is a very well cared for and looked after example of a future classic. Clean CarFax – no accidents. Porsche club member owned.
The car has 87k miles or about 5,000 miles a year over the course of its lifetime. If you’ve looked at Porsches before you’ll know that some of the best running examples are the ones that have been used and not sitting around in a garage. This is a southern car that has never seen northern winter roads.
Recent service and maintenance includes:
New Rear Tires
New front control arms
New cabin filter
Differential fluid change
Tranny fluid change
Transfer case gasket fix!
The last one is very important if you are looking at any Tiptronic Porsche. Poorly designed tranny mounts cause the transfer case gasket to fail and leak fluid. This has just been replaced, no leaks! There is also an upgraded 997 tranny mount installed on the car.
The car also has upgraded diverter valves ($300), upgraded intake ($600) and a 2.5 Speedtech “Quiet” Exhaust ($3000). The stock exhaust is available (much heavier not, not much quieter).
This 996 Turbo is above average for the mileage. Common wear items, but presents very nicely. This was a very highly optioned car from Porsche with crested supple leather seats, paint matched center console and gauges, heated seats, carbon fiber package and navigation.
